There are 3 types of people, or we could say situations that people find themselves in regarding their name:
1. IDEAL- This is where a person received a perfectly balanced name from birth! Very rare, and this person grows up happy and fulfilled and wonders why others around them are so unbalanced and unfulfilled. The reason is because they were not as lucky as you! They did not receive a balanced name, and are confused to varying degrees of severity regarding their identity.
2. REAL- This person is starting to wake up and realizes that he or she is unhappy, they start to suffer very badly as they wake up to their true purpose in life, The person feels unhappy because their first name is not balanced to their birth-path and they feel out of balance and confused. There is a conflict within between their name and birth-path which are at odds, leading to confusion. Hopefully they will come to Yantra yoga and change their name and remedy this basic conflict.
3. UNREAL- These people are also not really happy, but not suffering as they are totally identified with their name and have no idea what their true birth-path is. This is the majority of people.
My teacher always used to say, that your birth path is who you SHOULD BE, while your first name is who you ARE.
This means that most people are so totally identified with their name that that you would not see the traits of their birth-path in their behavior at all.
