Most if not all of the systems of numerology out there are simply watered down versions of the original and also incomplete and faulty. They are new age hocus pocus not based in any fact, but rather just hearsay.
Only Yantra yoga gives complete knowledge. Yantra yoga comes down from the Vedas, the oldest source of knowledge to survive on earth.
All other systems are watered down versions of it. Just like Sanskrit is the mother language of Latin and Greek, which led to french, English etc.
So too, all these systems are watered down versions of yantra yoga.
Now let me take some time to once and for all dispel certain myths perpetuated in some systems of numerology here.
Faulty cycles calculation:
Most of these systems of numerology work out your time cycles incorrectly! They fail to add an extra year for pregnancy. For example, take your birthday, month and add to current year. You then add 1 and then that is the correct total. yantra also calculates not only personal year, but cosmic and solar cycles too.
Faulty name analysis
Most of these systems analyze your full name giving you inner desire and expression etc. That is wrong, your first name gives the biggest influence on you. Surname gives family influence and full name gives environment, associations and destiny.
Faulty idea about your name
Perhaps the worst thing about new age numerology or so called Pythagorean numerology is that they claim that your name given to you by your parents at birth is something divinely inspired, ie chosen by your soul. I do not believe this. I believe that most people have forgotten the knowledge of how to give their children a vibrationally balanced name and commit the biggest blunder by giving their children names that are completely out of sync with their inner potential. How else do we explain the current state of most human beings. Lets admit it, do you know any one who is even remotely balanced or enlightened! I thought not! This is because their names are messing them up all the time, and why most people cannot help themselves but be imbalanced.
This is why when you give any baby, person or even pet a balanced name. They transform, they become happy and successful. It is that simple.
